August 2020 – Even better than July?!
August 2020 has come to an end, and like each month the 100eyes team analyzes the performance of Bitcoin and altcoins. In July we saw Bitcoin taking off and gain 24%, this month Bitcoin flattened and closed out August with a 2.2% gain. Altcoins on the other hand had a massive “altcoin season”-like gain. Overall 95% of all altcoins had a positive month and on average altcoins gained an astonishing 45% in dollar value.
This is even better than July which was the best month for the crypto market in over two years. Wait… What? That’s right, that means that this month has been the BEST month for the crypto market in over two years!

The top 5 performers in August were $TCT (+267.06%) , $AST (+251.70%), $OMG (+226.18%), $STORJ (+221.23%), and $BAND (+220.65%). Biggest losers were $BCH (-9.16%), $ADA (-10.24%), $ETC (-11.13%), $MBL (-16.22%), and $PERL (-21.55%).
