November 2020 – Bitcoin sets new ATH after 3 years!

November 2020 has come to an end and like each month the 100eyes team analyses what happened to Bitcoin and the altcoin market. In our previous update we reported that Bitcoin gained 29.5% in October. In November, Bitcoin absolutely skyrocketed and set a new ATH after gaining 40.6% in November. Bitcoin is back and looking stronger than ever.

Surprisingly, altcoins held their own very well in November and gained 39.5% on average. While most altcoins were still outperformed by Bitcoin, 98% of all altcoins increased in dollar value.

Conclusion: November has been a great month for the crypto market as a whole. Despite Bitcoin’s dominance in the market altcoins performed very well. Let’s hope they will take over in December and draw even more attention to the crypto market!

In the following chart you can see how November compared to the last twelve months of altcoin performance.

The top 5 performers in November were $DNT (+437.95%), $CVC (+220.17%), $ZEN (+171.82%), $XRP (+170.98%), and $XLM (+155.52%). Biggest losers were $CND (-0.39%), $DREP (-0.41%), $MDA (-4.68%), $AST (-23.62%), and $POE (-41.42%).
